Yaxley Manor House Yaxley Manor House was built in 1520 for John Fanner, and is of timber frame cased in brickwork. The servants Quarters running adjacent to the hall were added some thirty years later. During this period a small complex of buildings grew surrounding the Manor House, many of which have since been demolished. However, the original Court House remains together with several barns and coach houses which are now private dwellings. Over the last forty years parts of the estate have been sold off leaving a courtyard behind the Manor House, where the holiday cottages are situated and seven areas of garden, ponds and paddocks. |
